A Hunger for Wholeness
Many of us yearn for a sense of wholeness and balance in our lives. We live in a time of intense polarization and division, both internally and externally. Whether we feel this divisiveness within ourselves or between us and others, there is a deep longing to find ease and purpose in our actions.
Some of us may feel a strong desire to take action and make a difference where there was none before. Others may crave a slower pace and the ability to relax, having always been accustomed to a hectic, fast-paced lifestyle. No matter which path we choose, it requires awareness and a willingness to change. This journey is a spiritual one, where we develop greater self-awareness and self-acceptance. It is also concrete and practical, where we learn to take purposeful action to achieve the results we are striving for.
It is also where we learn to move forward confidently without needing to know every detail of what lies ahead. It is about embracing the present moment and taking one step at a time, trusting in our own abilities and intuition. This path is not always easy, but it is necessary for finding the wholeness and harmony we seek in our lives.
The Work: Polarities and Wholeness
Sam has spent a lifetime exploring the conflicting forces that exist everywhere and finding inspiration in the tension they create, rather than trying to fix or resolve them. Take, for example, the positive and negative sides of a battery. They will always oppose each other, and that is essential. These opposing forces, or polarities, are present in all aspects of life—work versus play, independence versus relationships, chaos versus order, and even in our political views. They exist within our own minds, our actions, and our relationships.
Traditionally, we've sought to resolve these tensions by choosing one side or the other. But that approach has never provided a lasting solution. Sam encourages us to embrace all sides of any challenge or conflict we face, to see them as part of a greater whole. By expanding our understanding of polarities, we can find a path to wholeness and success.
Just look around. In every aspect of human existence—within ourselves, between us, in our work, and in our communities—we see how the extremes are tearing us apart. The constant swings between opposing preferences create a tormenting tension. But what if we imagine a different way? What if we envision a vast net wrapped around all sides of any conflict? And what if we view this tension not as something to be resolved, but as a co-creative dynamic that can bring about new possibilities and outcomes?
Embracing Life as an Experiment
As we engage in all stages of our lives, it becomes increasingly important to recognize that everything we think, feel, say, and do is an ongoing experiment. Even activities we've done countless times before still hold an element of novelty, as they have never been executed in this exact moment. Let us release the notion of achieving perfection, for it remains an unchanging target. Instead, let us strive for excellence, acknowledging that it is a dynamic and ever-evolving endeavor. Embracing this mindset relieves the pressure to be flawless. Cultivating this understanding necessitates discipline and regular practice.
Embracing Life as an Experiment

No Set Formula
This is a journey without a set "formula" for success. It involves increasing self-awareness and establishing a routine, taking risks and trying new things, and showing compassion and good judgment.
There are no easy solutions for the challenges we face. Each person discovers their own way to tackle those challenges. When we work together, we are reminded of our true selves and the purpose that drives us. By firmly embracing this purpose, we can achieve tangible and clear results.
This is a path of personal growth and spiritual intelligence. Whether you follow a specific religion or hold your own beliefs, the key is to expand your awareness and become more conscious of yourself, others, and the world around you. This is essential for finding inner peace, nurturing meaningful relationships, and becoming more effective and productive in your endeavors.
It’s All About Leadership
This approach considers that everyone is a leader, whether they know it or not or agree with it or not. They already are a leader. A leader is one who is responsible for our world. Being ‘responsible’ does not assume the ability to control an outcome. It is the ability to hold a consciousness of being responsible without feeling the need to control, vs a consciousness of passivity, helplessness and blame--of circumstances, of others, of rules, etc.--for the conditions that we face. It is not burdensome when we hold this understanding of responsibility in this way. We all share responsibility all the time.
Response-able vs Reactive: True leadership is about recognizing that, under any circumstance, one can be response-able, i.e. have the ability to meet any situation from a position of resourcefulness and choice, vs being reactive, and letting unconscious emotional and behavioral actions occupy the driver’s seat. Learning how to step into the responsibility of leadership transforms how we engage our world.
The Importance of Love
It is crucial to recognize that love is at the center of everything. As we grow older, it becomes essential to increase our ability to love ourselves, others, and the world around us. A deeper understanding and progress in life are built on a foundation of love. However, this does not come naturally; it requires effort and dedication. By consciously incorporating a loving mindset into our lives, we become more open to trying new things, finding the courage within us, and taking the necessary actions to bring about the changes we desire, no matter the direction they may take.

Coaching
We explore who you are and what you are facing in your life, both in the context of the challenges you face and in the context of the gifts that you carry. Some of those gifts may be under-emphasized or even unknown to you.
We focus on who you are when you are most alive and on purpose and your inherent connection to the wider world. We look at ways of overcoming the limiting beliefs that deplete your aliveness and take you away from your soul’s purpose.
Of course we look at growing you in your internal journey and the journey of you in relationship to others. And we create together the actions that you will take to bring yourself into right relationship with yourself, others, and the natural world, and taking concrete steps to bring about the change you seek to make.
Leadership
The leadership work is to remember how you already are and have always been a leader, whether you know this or agree with this or not. And this is true about everyone on the planet. It is about remembering and learning how you are responsible for our world (as am I and everyone else). The work focuses on strengthening a sense of purpose, vision and direction and making things happen, of learning how to listen to and support others, of tuning into the energetic field around us, of becoming more aware of and responsible for your impact on others and your world, and doing all of this without it feeling burdensome.
Teams and Groups
Driven by a systemic understanding and approach, the focus is on developing a greater sense of positivity and productivity, using the principles of team coaching. With groups of people, it is about growing understanding, empathy, and effectiveness using a contextually-based, experientially-driven, transformational approach that leads to enhanced and life-affirming communication and actions.
